Qneiform secures €3M to help companies predict who they’ll hire next

Talent intelligence platform Qneiform has raised a €3m seed-round led by PROfounders and Day1 Capital alongside existing investors Keen Ventures and DFF Ventures (Formerly Dutch Founders Fund), to transform how organisations understand human capital and use talent to drive performance.

The recruiting world is currently awash with startups promising salvation through generative AI, but the tragic thing is these tend to create more noise for recruiters rather than provide clarity.

Qneiform offers an alternative. Founded in Budapest in 2022 and now with offices in London and Amsterdam, Qneiform has built one of the richest datasets for candidates working in the financial services industry. The company combines its proprietary candidate data with domain-specific expert research to provide recruiters with instant, global visibility of human talent in their industry. This allows them to find the most relevant candidates within seconds as well as gain insight into talent movement trends at a market or competitor level.

Much as how search engines changed how individuals access information on the internet, Qneiform will change how organisations and the individuals within them are identified and understood. “A perfect talent search engine can process and understand every relevant datapoint in the world, so any organisation can be understood instantly in granular detail,” said Thomas Percy, CEO and founder of Qneiform. “That is where Qneiform is headed.”

Qneiform’s technology reconciles every possible source about talent into a single point of truth and uses that to provide objective metrics around organisations’ hiring needs and ability to attract, retain, and develop hires. They can see who they’re going to hire next and perhaps why they should consider alternatives.

“Almost every company in the world sees hiring as a priority and yet precious few take a data-driven approach to understanding their market for talent” said Joe Bond, Partner at PROfounders Capital. “We see Qneiform becoming the de facto starting point for any firm engaging in high-value recruitment or seeking to improve their talent strategy.”

The company name is derived from Cuneiform, an ancient logo-syllabic writing system that was used to annotate the oldest-known map of the world. Qneiform, the software platform, will empower cartographers of a very different kind.

Qneiform has seen rapid adoption by many of the most demanding firms in the industry, including 5 of the 10 most profitable hedge funds in history, bulge-bracket and elite boutique investment banks, and leading Private Equity firms.

This investment will be used to continue developing Qneiform’s data models and platform, and to expand beyond the world of finance, enabling any organisation to finally connect talent decisions to business outcomes and identify their perfect next hire.
